When I first laid eyes on the Ford Flex, I thought to myself, “Gee, looks like a Scion xB on ‘roids!” As the xB was a smash hit for Toyota, Ford is betting on its newest crossover to be just that.
The Ford Flex just might be the answer to soccer moms that cannot stand the stigma that comes with driving a minivan, hurt in the wallet from fuel hungry SUVs, and do not want to be associated with anything classified as a station wagon. Well, the Flex is essentially is a wagon, mind you. But a cool one indeed. While Ford’s 3.5 liter Duratec V6 hasn’t been the most fuel efficient engine in its class, 17 city / 24 hwy is not bad for a vehicle of this size. Plus, check out the interior. Starting at just over $28,000, this thing is priced to sell. Check it out on http://www.fordvehicles.com/crossovers/flex/
